Job description
As the Vice President, Technology Solutions, you will oversee our company's technological development and innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals. You will be responsible for leading our technology strategy (both internal and customer facing), managing our technology resources, contributing to new business pursuits, and driving technology initiatives across the organization.

Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a customer focused technology strategy that supports and aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Innovation Leadership: Lead the research and development efforts to innovate and introduce new technologies, products, and solutions.

Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing technology team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.

Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our internal technology infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Collaboration: Work closely with other executives, departments, stakeholders, academia, industry, and others to develop solutions.

Budget Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. CMMC.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage external technology partners and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements

Masters in Computer Science or related technical field required.

Masters in Business Administration preferred.

8+ years of related defense industry experience, with proven track record of leading multiple disciplinary departments to include Operations, Business Development, and Technology.

Active Secret security clearance.

Previous experience as a multi-functional project team leader with the proven ability to drive projects to closure.

Excellent business acumen and financial analysis skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent verbal, written and listening skills, including the ability to effectively present concepts and proposals to senior leadership and board levels.

Proven strategic planning and project leadership capabilities.

Ability to make decisions based on limited input and/or information.
