On this team, you'll:

Report directly with Dioptra's founders as part of a small, highly focused product and engineering group

Build and evolve front-end experiences that bring powerful AI capabilities to life for end users

Design intuitive, high-quality interfaces used by global enterprises such as Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and Mercedes-Benz

Have meaningful ownership and influence over the user experience and product direction

Join the enterprise legal technology market at a pivotal moment, with the opportunity to shape how AI is applied at scale
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional front-end engineering experience building modern, user-centric web applications
- Strong experience with React and client-side JavaScript/TypeScript
- A solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design
- Experience collaborating closely with designers and product partners
- Startup experience is a plus
- Comfort working on challenging problems in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- A desire to have a large impact as an early member of a growing team
- Regular use of AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex)
- Professional experience with the following technologies (must have): JavaScript/TypeScript, React, modern front-end tooling, CI/CD, Git, and familiarity working with GenAI-powered products
Benefits & conditions
Min $150,000 - Max $250,000 USD per year We are considering Engineers at various levels based on experience, thus the broad base salary range. Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary, an annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package. This is an NYC-based role.
