Senior Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Seat Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This role involves leading product development activities from concept to production, ensuring high standards in safety, comfort, and manufacturability., * Lead product management activities including planning, tracking, and communication

• Design automotive seats considering safety, packaging, comfort, and vehicle requirements
• Conduct product studies to ensure functional and manufacturing feasibility
• Prepare technical documentation such as complexity matrices, Bill of Materials (BoM), and part matrices
• Design and develop seat components (headrests, armrests, plastic parts, PU foam, trim covers) with a strong understanding of material behavior
• Perform benchmarking and apply methodologies such as VA/VE, A3, and 5 Why
• Actively participate in DFMEA and design reviews
• Implement and manage engineering changes.

• Strong proficiency in Catia (mandatory)
• Proven experience in the automotive industry
• Solid understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and stack-up analysis
• Knowledge of methodologies such as DRBFM and DFMEA
• Familiarity with automotive regulations
• Strong project management skills (mandatory)
• Cost awareness (preferred)
• Good knowledge of materials and their application in seat design
• Must be eligible to work without requiring a work permit
