Job description
As an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of robust, high-performance embedded platforms powering next-generation energy systems.
You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, contributing to system architecture, low-level development, and optimisation of embedded solutions., * Develop, customise, and maintain Embedded Linux systems (Yocto / Buildroot)
- Perform low-level programming in C/C++ for embedded environments
- Work on Linux kernel development, device drivers, and board support packages (BSPs)
- Support board bring-up, hardware integration, and system validation
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded system issues
Requirements
- Strong experience with Embedded Linux development
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Solid understanding of Linux internals and kernel space
- Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot
- Hands-on experience with device driver development and debugging
- Familiarity with ARM-based architectures
- Experience with cross-compilation, toolchains, and debugging tools (e.g. GDB)
