Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

Akkodis is looking for an experienced Data/BI Specialist to support one of its clients in the industrial sector. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's enterprise Data Warehouse, while delivering impactful data visualizations through Power BI. You will work closely with both business and IT teams to turn complex industrial data into actionable insights and ensure an optimal user experience., * Data Warehouse design & development: Build, structure, and optimize the Data Warehouse by consolidating data from multiple industrial applications. Ensure consistency, quality, and reliability of data used for business analytics.

• ETL development & automation: Create and maintain ETL pipelines (SSIS, Python, etc.), automate data flows, and monitor data processes to guarantee accuracy and stability.
• Power BI dashboards & reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and dynamic reports tailored to business needs (KPI tracking, production monitoring, etc.). Present data clearly and concisely, whether in near real-time or batch mode, while ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Business collaboration & user support: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into BI solutions. Provide training and support to end users and document key processes to ensure maintainability.
• Optimization & continuous improvement: Improve SQL query performance, enhance Power BI data models, and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in the Data/BI landscape.

• Power BI expertise: Strong command of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design. Ability to create meaningful visualizations for operational and managerial audiences.
• Data Warehouse & ETL skills: Excellent SQL skills and experience in database design. Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Python, Talend, or similar) and APIs for data integration.
• Teamwork & service orientation: Strong communication abilities, capable of understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions. Ability to train and guide users, and to work collaboratively with IT, production, and management teams.
• Languages: Fluent French and good command of technical English.
