IT Sustainability Lead

• Lead, from the IT & Platforms area, the digital sustainability strategy implementation for our client.
• Act as a key bridge between Sustainability / Business teams and technical teams (IT, data, platforms), translating ESG objectives into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, defining user stories, use cases, processes, and roadmaps for sustainability-related initiatives.
• Drive the design and evolution of platforms, data tools, and reporting solutions that enable the measurement, monitoring, and reporting of sustainability KPIs.
• Collaborate with data / BI teams to ensure data quality, traceability, and availability for sustainability (e.g., carbon footprint, recycling, responsible sourcing, product lifecycle).
• Ensure that applications and platforms follow internal IT standards and governance, and are aligned across markets and business units where applicable.
• Ensure that apps and solutions are compliant with internal policies (security, data protection, quality, sustainability) and relevant external regulations and industry standards.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with key stakeholders to align needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure solution adoption.
• Monitor project progress, identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies, and propose mitigation plans and actions.
• Ensure that solutions comply with internal standards, regulations, and ESG and sustainability reporting best practices.

• 6+ years of experience in IT / Digital roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar, within complex corporate or consulting environments.
• Solid experience leading or driving projects related to sustainability / ESG (e.g., carbon footprint, circular economy, recycling, traceability, sustainability reporting, environmental or social impact).
• Proven experience working in IT & platforms, data & analytics, or digital solutions (dashboards, reporting tools, data platforms, etc.).
• Strong background in business requirements gathering and analysis (user stories, use cases, as-is / to-be processes, functional documentation).
• Knowledge and familiarity with ESG concepts, sustainability metrics and KPIs (emissions, waste, recycling, energy, social impact, etc.).
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders (sustainability, business, operations, supply chain, IT, external vendors) at local and/or international level.
• Experience working with IT standards, governance, and compliance, ensuring solutions align with internal policies and external regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and align expectations between business and technology.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable making decisions based on data and KPIs.
• Advanced level of English (B2/C1) to work in an international environment; other languages are a plus.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
