Global Enterprise Partners is currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical organization in the Netherlands that is looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator Engineer - MES to support a critical Syncade/SIRIUS Manufacturing Execution System within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

This role sits within the Digital Plant - Manufacturing IT Systems & MES domain and plays a key part in ensuring the stability, performance, and compliance of MES systems supporting cell therapy manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on system administration role, focused on daily operations, troubleshooting, change management, and close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, and Quality teams. The role is not focused on recipe authoring, but on keeping the MES environment reliable and compliant in a high-pressure production setting. Role Overview

As a Senior System Administrator Engineer MES, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering the Syncade/SIRIUS MES environment. You will ensure system availability, support integrations and peripheral devices, manage master data and user access, and provide second-line support when incidents occur.

You will operate in a GMP environment, where compliance and change control are critical. The role requires someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and remain structured when production pressure is high. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Syncade/SIRIUS MES environment
• Monitor system health and support MES upgrades and periodic system reviews
• Manage user access, master data, and configuration items
• Create and maintain MES configurations, labels, and reports
• Provide second-line incident support and restore system availability in line with business continuity requirements
• Support recipe transfers from development to quality and production environments
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, IT, MSAT, and CSV teams
• Ensure all changes and fixes follow GMP and change management procedures

Key Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with MES systems, preferably Syncade
• Strong experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
• Solid SQL skills for troubleshooting and operational support
• Experience with SIRIUS MES is a strong plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable operating in a production-critical environment under pressure
• Previous experience in pharma or biotech manufacturing is highly preferred
