Job description
- Guide the scope and direction of engineering projects
- Deliver technical consultancy expertise on customer projects
- Support trials at customer locations alongside colleagues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across programmes
- Develop proposals and statements of work
- Engage with customer representatives to identify and pursue opportunities
- Attend internal management strategy meetings
- Mentor junior engineers in project delivery
- Participate in social activities and contribute to other areas of the business if interested

Requirements
- Experience in systems engineering
- Strong communication skills for engaging with external stakeholders
- Ability to mentor and guide early career engineers
- Familiarity with technical consultation in a variety of projects
- Knowledge of requirements analysis and management (not essential)
- Experience with integration testing (not essential)
- Understanding of verification and validation processes (not essential)
- Familiarity with planning and execution of trials (not essential)
- Knowledge of systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS, MATLAB, Simulink) (not essential)
