Job description
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of software and technology projects
- Define project goals, deliverables, timelines, and scope in collaboration with stakeholders
- Maintain effective governance processes, including risk and issue management
- Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Manage budgets, resources, dependencies, and delivery performance
- Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
- Build and sustain strong professional relationships across all stakeholder groups
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across development, quality assurance, and operations
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential risks and issues
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting on project status, milestones, and financials
- Support the ongoing development of delivery frameworks and best practices

Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering complex software or IT projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Practical experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and structured methodologies such as PRINCE2
- Confident working alongside engineering teams with a solid grasp of technical concepts such as APIs and microservices
- Experience using project and delivery tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure)
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate complex concepts clearly
- Understanding of security, compliance, and data protection considerations
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks and manage dependencies
- Experience in senior project or programme-level roles, ideally within regulated industries
