• Create industry-leading Interior Components and Systems with groundbreaking luxury, craftsmanship, performance, safety, ergonomics, and functionality
• Contribute to the packaging, engineering, release, and launch of Interior Components and Systems across the Lucid portfolio
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional marketing, design, and vehicle engineering team, prioritizing overall vehicle benefit above individual systems
• Collaborate with interior trim suppliers to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery of Lucid Interior Components and Systems
• Employ and develop effective tools and innovative approaches to support product development

Ideal candidate has designed SYSTEMS on a BUILD TO PRINT scheme, capable of designing with manufacturing in mind, knowledge of INJECTION MOLDING, compression forming , lamination, GD&T etc., · Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field. · Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor''s degree is required to be eligible for this role. · Best vs. Average: See JD · Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. Minimum 4 years experience as a detail-oriented Interior Components and Systems development lead (e.g., hard trim, soft trim, IP, door trims, consoles, headliners, etc.)
2. Minimum 4 years of knowledge and understanding of automotive interior components and systems, industry benchmarks, trends, and supplier capabilities
3. Minimum 4 years experience creating, improving, or establishing technical product specifications and timelines to support accelerated development toward SOP, * 4+ years of demonstrated experience as a detail-oriented Interior Components and Systems development lead (e.g., hard trim, soft trim, IP, door trims, consoles, headliners, etc.)

• Knowledge and understanding of automotive interior components and systems, industry benchmarks, trends, and supplier capabilities
• Experience creating, improving, or establishing technical product specifications and timelines to support accelerated development toward SOP
• Proficiency in CAD for 2D/3D concept drawings, interior components and systems, packaging layouts, and DFM studies (CATIA V5/V6 preferred)
• Vehicle and product launch experience

• Competency in materials selection, plastic injection molding/DFM, and GD&T

Education
