Job description
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming a/v equipment and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Driving to pick up or deliver materials in the field., * Assist with shipping, receiving and checking in merchandise.
- Use proprietary CRM to log equipment, deliver out to technicians, and reconcile with accounting system.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Inspect shipments upon receipt for damage or inaccuracies.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Prepare parcels for mailing, shipping and return. Process all returns within 24 hours of receipt.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Maintain company vehicle fleet - drop off/pick up company vehicles for service and maintenance.
- Tracking maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
- Identifying and resolving GPS problems in vehicles.
- Coordinating vehicle inventory and supplies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college .
- 1-2 years previous inventory management experience .
- Experience with software and computer systems to track, ship and reconcile materials.
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills.
- Driven to perform all tasks with high quality.
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills are required.
- Clean driving record, and clear background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop and/or kneel.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
