IT support professional

We are seeking a contract IT support professional who may transition to a permanent role, responsible for all IT issues at an assigned site. This role entails delivering second-level desktop support, managing PC inventory, and assisting in critical IT initiatives while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. Frequent travel will be required, offering a unique opportunity to engage with diverse environments and challenges., * Serve as the primary IT support contact on-site, addressing and resolving any technical issues that arise promptly.

• Manage PC inventory effectively, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and in proper working condition to support operational needs.
• Assist actively in various IT initiatives, contributing to the advancement of technical solutions and systems.
• Provide second-level desktop support with a focus on excellent customer service, ensuring that all end-user technical needs are met efficiently.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector, addressing both hardware and software challenges.
• Technical expertise in managing server environments, particularly with Server 2019, alongside proficiency in Cisco networking gear.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PC, LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions in dynamic work environments.
• Possession of a valid TWIC Card, along with an excellent driving record and a reliable vehicle for on-site travel.
