In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and leading the design of advanced mission architectures that will help transform and define the Air Force of the future. You'll learn from a large community of engineers across the company and collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and Air Force stakeholders to help deliver world-class solutions to develop and govern system models, lead mission thread analyses, assess capability gaps, and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into future force designs. Your engineering knowledge will help the U.S. Air Force expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and enhance warfighter effectiveness.
Requirements
As a senior model-based mission engineer on our engineering team, you'll evaluate mission architectures, perform advanced trade studies and risk assessments, and lead the design and integration of complex aerospace and defense systems. Your experience in MBSE tools, such as Cameo MagicDraw, system-of-systems modeling, and analytic traceability to Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution., If you desire to solve real-world challenges and lead critical engineering for Air Force mission transformation, there's a place here. - Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Knowledge of system-of-systems architecture development, mission engineering, and establishing traceability to Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs)
- Ability to lead development, integration, and governance of complex system models and mission architectures across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to conduct and lead trade studies, risk assessments, and analytic evaluations to inform senior decision-makers
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
