Job description
As a Senior Manager of Applications Engineering, you will define and orchestrate pre and post sales customer applications support activities, via a global team of applications engineers., * Strategy & Execution: In coordination with Marketing and Sales, you will develop and implement the customer support plan towards realizing the annual business plan for Enterprise products. You will own the projections for the range and skills of resources required and building the case for staffing the team correctly.
- Day to day coordination: You will stay on top of the technical activities at all of our customer base, paying close attention to top customers' needs and driving Apps efforts to support these. You will run periodic sync meetings with these customers and ensure that our efforts are aligned with their priorities.
- Product Development: Usage based inputs are key to keeping our portfolio closely matched to customer requirements. You will contribute to product development efforts by participating in bug/feature triage, as well as contribute to product requirement documents based on significant changes in customer needs.
- Escalation Management: Serve as the primary global lead for resolving critical customer issues, production-down situations, urgent changes in customer factory environments etc.
- Technical Marketing: You will support positioning Enterprise products with wider audiences by helping the Applications team to create and deliver technical papers, blog articles, webinars, internal BKMs, SOPs, and case-study documents.
- Team Leadership: Serve as the Global Leader for Enterprise Applications team, set goals and growth objectives for the global team, develop skills, awareness, capabilities and responsiveness to best support the business. Scale company-wide expertise around Enterprise products through product trainings and other educational avenues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Service, and Engineering, to support broader Enterprise business objectives.
- Travel: Able to travel domestically and globally - about 10-20% of times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering fields associated with Semiconductor Manufacturing. Master's preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10+ years in Yield Management systems, Advanced Process Control systems, Fault Diagnostics and Classification, Manufacturing Execution systems etc. with at least 5 years managing customer facing technical teams. Applications Manager experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite. Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: Production Databases, Data Wrangling, Analytics, Statistical techniques, Deep Learning and AI techniques, etc.
- Expert knowledge of Yield Analysis and Process Control systems and methodologies in Semiconductor industry.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills, with ability to resolve high-tension high-urgency situations with an amicable and calm presence.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills using data driven approaches to influence and drive decisions.
- Clear communications style with emphasis on pragmatic focus on outcomes.
- Ability to thrive in high-urgency, fast-paced environments with cross-cultural teams.

Compensation & Growth
Base Salary Range: $144,000.00 - $216,000.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
