Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who can dig into data, identify patterns, and help answer why things are happening.
You will work closely with a Lead Analyst to perform deep-dive analysis, validate data, and contribute to insights that drive business decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, critical thinking, and working with real-world messy data.
This position is fully remote within the U.S. and will be a W-2 hourly engagement for 6 to 9 months., * Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends and patterns
- Support root cause analysis and deep-dive investigations
- Perform segmentation and drill-down analysis to identify key drivers
- Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy
- Assist in developing insights and recommendations
- Create clear summaries and visualizations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex business problems
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, advanced reporting, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with data analysis (beyond basic reporting).
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, filtering).
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, analysis).
- Exposure to:
- Trend analysis
- Data validation
- Basic root cause analysis
- Ability to think critically and ask "why" questions.
- Good communication skills.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Tableau or MicroStrategy experience.
- Experience working with large datasets or data warehouses.
- Exposure to business problem-solving or analytics use cases.

Benefits & conditions
