Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who can dig into data, identify patterns, and help answer why things are happening. You will work closely with a Lead Analyst to perform deep-dive analysis, validate data, and contribute to insights that drive business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, critical thinking, and working with real-world messy data. This position is fully remote within the U.S. and will be a W-2 hourly engagement for 6 to 9 months. The hourly range is $40/hr - $50/hr. Candidates will be paid based on their work experience and skills. - Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends and patterns
- Support root cause analysis and deep-dive investigations
- Perform segmentation and drill-down analysis to identify key drivers
- Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy
- Assist in developing insights and recommendations

Requirements
-
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, advanced reporting, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience working with data analysis (beyond basic reporting).

Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, filtering).

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, analysis).

Ability to think critically and ask "why" questions.
