As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work deeply with engineering and science teams on the design, implementation, and drive the delivery of large scale recommendations systems that power all Prime VIdeo surfaces
You will be responsible for leading initiatives spanning across teams of software engineers, designing and building innovative software solutions for our customers. You will need to be an excellent leader and bridge across various parts of Tech, Product, and business.
A day in the life
- Craft a goal update for a key goal that goes up to our VP
- Attend an engineering standup and help unblock a key milestone
- Update the experimental roadmap with updates on hundreds of experiments in flight across the org
- Work through a launch-blocker with some engineers
- Talk with Product managers about the requirements for an upcoming project
- Respond to some emails and work through the release strategy for an upcoming project

Requirements
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps, 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
