Job description

  • Developing and maintaining embedded firmware in C/C++ for real-time, safety-critical systems with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
  • Designing scalable and maintainable firmware architectures by translating system requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Working with both bare-metal and RTOS-based systems to ensure deterministic and efficient real-time behavior
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (electronics, FPGA, PSoC, and mechanics) to define system-level trade-offs and interfaces
  • Interfacing firmware with FPGA-based hardware using protocols such as SPI, I²C, PCIe, and custom communication methods.
  • Applying best practices in development processes, including code reviews, version control, CI/CD, and structured testing.
  • Debugging and validating embedded systems using tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes, while implementing diagnostics and error-handling mechanisms., * Flexible 32-40 hour working week, with room to work from home. A healthy work-life balance is very important to us. We have 28 holidays with an option to buy an additional 12 holidays.
  • You will work with passionate colleagues who share your drive for technology and business success.
  • By combining our expertise in software, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, mathematics and assembly, we make the impossible possible for our customers and get to work on challenging high-tech projects.
  • You get a lot of freedom and responsibility; after all, you know exactly what you are doing.
  • Personal coaching and a training budget of €6000 per year, so that you can continue to develop yourself.
  • We also find it important to have fun together. We organize a lot for our employees, from family festivals and sparkling Christmas parties, to inspiring knowledge sessions for the high-tech community.
  • You will be working at a prime location in the heart of the Brainport region. At our main office you can enjoy lunch, sports, making music, and share your knowledge in one of the Sioux Tech Labs (hobby clubs).

High Tech & High Fun

We can tell you all about the typical Sioux-culture and the high-tech challenging projects. About how you can develop yourself, like nowhere else. But we'd rather have you hear it from our own employees., + One of our recruiters will review your application and get back to you asap.

  • Introduction
  • We will plan an (online) introduction with a Sioux colleague to find out if there is a match.
  • Follow-up conversation(s)
  • In follow-up conversation(s), we dive into the (technical) depth. In some cases a personality test will be part of the conversation and will be discussed with you. In other cases you will be presented with a (technical) case.
  • Both excited?
  • If we are both enthusiastic, we would like to make you an offer. We will talk you through the offer and discuss it with you. Are you already curious about our terms of employment? You can find them here for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany.
