Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer - Contract - Edinburgh - Part time

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance infrastructure across production sites, with a strong focus on Operational Technology (OT), Windows Server and Nutanix.

Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Provide hands-on support for site IT infrastructure, networks, and servers.
• Deliver infrastructure and OT-related projects across production environments.
• Coordinate and manage third-party vendors on-site.
• Support industrial systems eg HMIs, scanners, PLC-connected environments
• Assist with infrastructure platforms including virtualisation, storage, and backups in Nutanix.

Key Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Strong networking and infrastructure experience is necessary.
• Strong experience with Windows Server 2019/2022.
• Proven experience delivering projects and managing vendors.
• Exposure and experience with OT environments within a production setting.
• Experience with virtualisation and backup technologies. Nutanix is desirable.

The Successful Infrastructure Engineer will be working part time 2 - 3 days onsite in Livingston or Edinburgh
