Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Software Developer to join a critical Health Programme via a leading consultancy. This is a chance to work on large-scale public health infrastructure that impacts millions of citizens. You will contribute to the technical delivery within a squad of developers, ensuring high-quality outcomes while working through complex architectural challenges within a high-compliance environment., The ideal candidate will be a specialist in Node.js and TypeScript, with deep expertise in modern cloud-native architecture.

• Core: Node.js, TypeScript (experience is essential)
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Comprehensive AWS knowledge, specifically Lambda, ECR, S3, SQS, and EC2
• IaC & Orchestration: Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Database: DocumentDB (DocDB)
• DevOps/Tooling: GitLab and robust CI/CD pipeline management

To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:

• Public Sector Experience: A proven track record of delivering digital services within the NHS or broader Public Sector
• Central Government Experience: Experience working within Central Government, adhering to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards, * Experience mentoring developers and conducting code reviews
• The ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders and non-technical product owners
