Infrastructure Test Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Validating and verifying infrastructure components, systems and networks to ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met.
• Carrying out functional and non-functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Performing end-to-end integration testing.
• Analysing test results and producing clear documentation.
• Working independently to manage test activities and contribute to project delivery.
• Supporting the enhancement of test approaches, tooling and frameworks.

• Experience working as an Infrastructure Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• A strong technical background.
• Good knowledge of Windows Client and Server operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
• Experience of end-to-end integration testing.
• Ability to work independently.

It would be great if you had:

• Knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, VMware, Hyper-V or Citrix.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, role-based access, OU structure and Group Policy.
• Appreciation of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS.
• PowerShell scripting skills.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent qualifications.
