Job description
- Work with complex, inconsistent data sets to improve structure and usability
- Build and optimise data pipelines and transformations
- Support the development of a more scalable and reliable data environment
- Collaborate with a Solutions Architect and wider technical team
- Prepare data for downstream reporting (Power BI handled separately)
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (essential)
- Experience with Azure data environments (e.g. Data Factory, Azure SQL)
- Exposure to Databricks (highly desirable)
- Proven background in data engineering / ETL / ELT pipelines
- Experience working in fast-paced or underdeveloped data environments
- Ability to deliver impact quickly in a short-term contract role
