Job description
Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of reliable client network environments while growing your technical expertise alongside a team of senior engineers., * Support & Operations: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshooting: Perform foundational troubleshooting for connectivity, hardware, and performance issues across LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
- Maintenance: Monitor network alerts, escalate complex issues, and perform routine system updates or upgrades.
- Security: Assist in implementing security controls, including firewall rules, MFA, and secure remote access.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation while collaborating with the service desk and senior staff.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in IT or networking roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
- Systems: Familiarity with networking hardware, firewalls and experience supporting Microsoft-based environments.
- Communication: Strong customer service oriented and problem-solving mindset with the ability to communicate technical details clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications (Net+, Security+, A+) and previous experience in an MSP environment.
