Job description

  • Design, configure, implement, and support telecom/network infrastructure
  • Participate in technical architecture decisions and product selection
  • Deploy and maintain network and telecom technologies
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues impacting operations
  • Support network security tools and infrastructure (segmentation, VPN, DNS security)
  • Assist in network incident response and remediation efforts
  • Lead or support small projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Provide input on strategy, budgeting, and long-term planning
  • Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years of experience

OR

  • Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience

OR

  • 6+ years of professional technical experience in lieu of degree, * Strong expertise in telecom/network concepts and 7-layer OSI model
  • Experience with network infrastructure (routing, switching, wireless)
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools
  • Experience with network security infrastructure (VPN, DNS security, segmentation, access control)
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues
  • Experience with WAN/LAN, firewalls, SASE, and cloud networking
  • Familiarity with network security operations and incident response
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cisco technologies
  • CCNA certification
  • Familiarity with automation/scripting tools (Splunk, Ansible, Python, .Net)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall project methodologie
