Job description

We are seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead a high-performing infrastructure team supporting a complex, 24/7 environment. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong compensation, excellent benefits, and rare travel to Southern California. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Idaho, Wyoming, or Missouri.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a team of ~12 System, Storage, and VDI/BDI Engineers.
  • Oversee planning, design, engineering, configuration, and support of enterprise server and storage environments.
  • Drive AWS cloud strategy and modernization initiatives while maintaining highly available on-prem systems.
  • Manage multiple technical projects including implementations, upgrades, and cloud migrations.
  • Ensure reliable network connectivity, data transport, storage capacity planning, and change management.
  • Develop and manage capital and operating budgets, staffing plans, and performance reviews.
  • Promote cross-training, team development, and a strong customer-service-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience across multiple infrastructure technologies including servers and storage.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience managing technical teams and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong server-heavy background (Cisco a plus, but not required).
  • Experience with VDI/BDI environments.
  • Proven AWS cloud experience and ability to lead cloud-forward strategy.
  • Experience in healthcare or another 24/7 critical operations environment strongly .
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Background in system engineering, endpoint management, network management, project management, budgeting, and personnel leadership.
  • PMP, Cisco, or Palo Alto certifications are a plus.
