Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled 12+ Exp Python Developer to support mission-critical applications within a fast-paced financial services environment. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs supporting trading, risk, or regulatory platforms., Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Python. Build scalable APIs and microservices for financial systems. Work with large datasets and implement efficient data processing pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Front Office, Risk, and DevOps. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability. Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support. Follow best practices for secure and compliant development in banking systems.

Strong hands-on experience in Python development. Experience with frameworks like Flask / FastAPI / Django. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP. Experience working with REST APIs and microservices architecture. Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills: Experience in the financial services/investment banking domain. Knowledge of trading systems, risk analytics, or regulatory reporting. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with data tools like Pandas, NumPy.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. Team player with a proactive mindset.

Nice to Have: Experience working with front-office or middle-office applications. Understanding of capital markets and financial instruments.
