This position is a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer designed to provide architect-level technical authority with execution-first delivery inside a Managed Services / Professional Services organization. The role exists to stabilize, standardize, and scale Microsoft-focused project delivery as formal architecture and pre-sales responsibilities move into a separate function. This is a revenue-generating, delivery-focused engineering role-not a people manager, not a solutions architect, and not a pre-sales engineer. Success requires architect-level thinking with engineer-level execution, ownership of the most complex Microsoft infrastructure and cloud engagements, and accountability for defining how Microsoft services are delivered consistently at scale., * Sr. Intune Engineer
- Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Microsoft Cloud
- Microsoft Cloud SME / Technical Lead (Delivery-Focused), * Independently deliver a small portfolio of the most complex Microsoft infrastructure and cloud projects
- Engineering level provisioning & configuring with:
- Microsoft 365 (SaaS), EntraID, Intune (SCCM/MECM; MDM), PowerShell, Hyper-V/Horizon/AVD (VDI)..
- Serve as the formal technical escalation point for non-standard or failing implementations
- Define, document, and enforce best practices and standards for Microsoft solution delivery (e.g., M365 tenant builds, Intune baselines)
- Create repeatable delivery frameworks that improve consistency, margin, and scalability
- Maintain high documentation standards within PSA and knowledge systems (tickets, configurations, SOPs)
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers without people management
- Influence service catalog design and level-of-effort estimates
- Translate technical decisions into clear business outcomes for stakeholders and clients
Requirements
Deep hands-on Microsoft delivery experience in an MSP or consulting environment
- Intune and Entra ID ownership in real client environments
- Ability to independently deliver and recover complex projects
- Strong PowerShell and automation mindset
- Confident client-facing communication and escalation ownership, * Microsoft 365 tenant creation, configuration, and migrations
- Entra ID (Azure AD) architecture and administration (GPO,MFA,SSO)
- Exchange Online (including Google Workspace Microsoft 365 migrations)
Intune & Endpoint Management
- Windows MDM and BYOD device management
- Security baselines, policy design, and privilege management
- OSD and GPO alignment
Azure & Infrastructure
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD; Also Omnisaa/Hyper-v accepted)
- Azure IaaS (VMs, networking, hybrid environments)
- Windows Server builds, migrations, and modernization
Automation & Scripting
- PowerShell for administrative efficiency and automation use cases
- Ability to identify repeatable tasks suitable for automation
MSP & Delivery Capabilities
- Proven experience working in PSA-driven MSP environments
- Strong understanding of standardized service delivery and SOPs
- Awareness of margin, scalability, and operational impact
- Comfortable being the "go-to" engineer for complex technical issues

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
