Job description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable technical assistance for employees in Lexington, Ohio within a plastics manufacturing environment. This Long-term Contract position supports users both remotely and in person, combining desk-based troubleshooting with hands-on assistance across workstations and peripheral devices. The role is ideal for someone who can navigate Microsoft-based systems confidently, communicate clearly with end users, and contribute to smooth day-to-day IT operations across a multi-site organization., Deliver frontline and advanced desktop support for employees through a mix of remote assistance and on-site service. Investigate and resolve issues involving computers, peripherals, software applications, and user access in a timely manner. Support Microsoft technologies, including Windows environments, Active Directory, domain-connected systems, and Microsoft Office 365 tools. Prepare, image, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and related hardware for end-user deployment. Move between work areas to provide deskside support, diagnose equipment problems, and restore functionality at the point of use. Record incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures to improve knowledge sharing and maintain accurate support documentation. Assist with scanner-related devices and other operational technology used by staff in daily business processes. Contribute to special IT initiatives and site-based technical projects as assigned.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in desktop or end-user support within a detail-focused IT environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and domain-based infrastructure. Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications at multiple levels of issue complexity. Hands-on background with hardware setup, device imaging, configuration, and workstation maintenance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain focused and effective when assisting challenging users. Ability to balance remote troubleshooting with physically active, on-site support throughout the workday. Familiarity with technologies such as Apple devices, backup tools, and configuration management practices is beneficial., All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
