We are seeking a Permanent Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives on challenges, is highly detail-oriented, and has a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including S Corporations, Corporations, and Individual income tax clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and reviewing complex corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.
  2. Conducting tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies for clients.
  3. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
  4. Keeping abreast of current developments in tax laws to provide timely and accurate advice to clients.
  5. Providing guidance to junior staff and overseeing their work for quality and accuracy.
  6. Liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support for clients.
  7. Collaborating with other team members to provide superior client service.
  8. Demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Associate position will have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a related field.
  3. Expertise in S Corp, Corporations, Income Tax, Individual, Corporate Tax Returns, and Tax Accounting.
  4. A proven track record of managing multiple client engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  5. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  6. Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  7. Proficiency in tax software and technology.
