Job description
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Specialist with deep AWS expertise to secure and optimize cloud infrastructure in a regulated environment., * Perform security assessments of AWS environments
- Evaluate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for compliance
- Implement AWS-native security controls and best practices
- Monitor cloud security posture and remediate risks
- Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- Develop security standards, playbooks, and documentation
- Provide security advisory support to engineering teams
- Conduct training and awareness sessions
- Automate security checks and processes
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on AWS security experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- IAM
- Cloud Security Architecture
- DevSecOps
- IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
- Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Strong understanding of:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- NIST SP 800-53
- OMB M-22-09
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
Additional Skills
