Job description
- Develop and implement configuration management plans in support of the Project Manager for System Level Test
- Ensure all documents and project files are controlled throughout project lifecycle
- Implement and maintain version control system for development and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Guide the project team through the system engineering design and realization processes by creating and distributing reports on configuration status
- Collaborate with multiple Navy industry partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
- Provide training, technical expertise and guidance on configuration management policies, procedures, and use of management tools
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders both verbally and in writing
Requirements
We are actively recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Configuration Manager to join our amazing team who can work independently and play a crucial role in enhancing organizational effectiveness by ensuring that processes are efficient and aligned with strategic objectives., * A bachelor's degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in requirements development and programmatic documentation development, with a strong focus on configuration management
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to analyze and resolve issues related to configuration discrepancies
- Experience with process improvement and implementation strategies
- An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or above (or have held an active DoD clearance within the last 2 years)
- Track record of working with teams in a highly collaborative environment
- A willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
- Excellent computer/technology skills
