We're hiring a Product Owner into our Consumer Lab to lead our OEM & API Integration product domain. This new role is at the centre of our strategy to build and deliver the roadmap that further develops our OEM capabilities and a fantastic opportunity to shape this position.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced professional acting as Product Owner. They will combine business insight with technical expertise to design, develop and own APIs and integration. Our Product Owner roles are evolving to stay competitive and meet ever-changing customer and partner needs. The role is accountable not only for delivery but for driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and strengthening commercial performance across your domain.
In this role, you'll lead the product domain for OEM integrations, defining clear outcomes, maintaining a transparent backlog, and driving a roadmap that enables the business to onboard and grow strategic OEM partnerships. You'll work closely with OEM relationship managers to translate commercial commitments and partnership opportunities into clear technical priorities, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing API integrations. Using data to inform decisions, you'll measure and optimise reliability, latency, and customer value, while embedding security, compliance, and non-functional requirements from the outset. Requirements
- 5 years experience in a Product Owner role in an agile environment, including backlog ownership, iterative delivery and translating strategy into clear, actionable execution.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to work closely with engineering on APIs, data contracts, system behaviour and testing approaches.
- Proven analytics skills, using performance metrics and structured testing to inform improvements with a focus on the customer.
- Risk & compliance literacy, especially relating to data flows, contractual obligations and regulatory expectations.
- Great collaboration & communication, influencing across OEM partners, Engineering, Risk, and senior collaborators, with ability to tailor communication style to the audience.
And any experience of these would be great
- Proven ability in automotive, connected car ecosystems, APIs or partner integrations is desirable but not essential.
