Job description

  • Oversee day-to-day Record to Report (R2R) activities, such as managing accounts, tracking company assets, handling transactions between different parts of the organization, and supporting financial close processes
  • Work with business users and IT teams to solve issues, suggest improvements, and keep financial systems running smoothly
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure they are accurate and comply with company policies and regulations
  • Help with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close activities, including reconciliations and recording financial entries
  • Get involved in projects that improve processes or update systems, focusing on making financial operations more efficient
  • Provide training and clear guidance to colleagues on how to use SAP for R2R processes
  • Monitor key metrics for R2R activities and look for ways to make them more efficient, such as through automation
  • Support compliance with relevant controls and regulations as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA are a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience working with SAP Record to Report or related finance systems
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in international or complex organizations is helpful

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP reporting and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with process improvement and automation methods
  • Understanding of key financial regulations and standards
  • Experience in project management or business analysis

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
