Job description
This role supports technology refreshes and project deployments by managing the storage, movement, and fulfillment of IT equipment and materials. Team members handle orders submitted through a ticketing system and are responsible for end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and equipment staging.
Responsibilities include loading, transporting, and delivering requested items; managing outgoing shipments; updating asset records; auditing shipments against packing slips; processing returns; and maintaining warehouse organization. The role also involves operating warehouse equipment and ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard procedures., * Fulfill equipment and material orders from incoming requests
- Pick, pull, stage, and prepare items for deployment or shipment
- Manage shipping and receiving, including domestic and international shipments
- Create shipping labels (FedEx, UPS, USPS, and international carriers)
- Audit incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips
- Process returns and update inventory and asset records
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and scan guns
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Drive a box truck to deliver items across campus as needed
- Follow predefined standards, procedures, and customer service expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook/Mail, Excel, Word)
- Experience with:
- Shipping and receiving
- Inventory control and warehouse management systems
- Picking, pulling, and staging materials
- Cycle counts and inventory auditing
- Scan guns and warehouse equipment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required (box truck driving on campus), * Strong customer service mindset
- Organized and process-driven
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Reliable and safety-focused
Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
