Job description

This role focuses on managing warehousing data input and shipment updates using Smartsheet and Excel within a supply chain environment. The Program Manager will support transportation and shipping activities by maintaining accurate data, coordinating shipment information, and ensuring smooth information flow across web-based tools and spreadsheets., * Manage warehousing data input and updates using Smartsheet, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • Add, edit, and maintain shipment and warehousing records in Smartsheet to support ongoing supply chain operations.
  • Work with transportation coordinates and shipment details to track and update shipment status and related information.
  • Use Excel proficiently to filter and sort data, apply basic formulas, and organize information for reporting and analysis.
  • Leverage web-based tools and online resources to find and verify shipment, supplier, and transportation information as needed.
  • Support program management activities related to shipping, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders by providing clear, accurate data and updates that support decision-making in the supply chain.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Smartsheet, Excel, and web-based sources for warehousing and transportation information., This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role, totaling approximately 40 hours per week. The position operates in a professional, technology-driven environment where Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and web-based tools are used daily to manage warehousing and transportation data. The role is structured for independent contractors who work in a focused, data-oriented setting with clear expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and reliable communication.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management or project management within shipping, procurement, or supply chain contexts.
  • Strong proficiency using Smartsheet to add, edit, and manage data for warehousing or logistics activities.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, and using basic formulas.
  • Ability to work with transportation coordinates and shipment details to update and track shipments accurately.
  • Ability to use the web effectively to search for, find, and verify relevant shipment and supply chain information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing and updating data.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple data input tasks and program activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting shipping, procurement, or logistics operations.
  • Background in program management or project management related to supply chain activities.
  • Familiarity with warehousing processes and terminology.
  • Comfort working as an independent contractor and taking ownership of assigned tasks.

This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
