Software Engineer

You will be the Senior Software Engineer for the team which is responsible for the development and delivery of software models with the ability to make independent and solid decisions during the software development process. • Proficiency in C, C++

• Experience with Vim, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CMake/Make

• Strong SQL skills (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) * Hands on experience with unit, integration, and end to end testing * Expertise in Git workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)

• Experience with, GitLab CI, or similar pipeline tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey technical concepts to non technical audiences Desired Skills:

• Vehicle Systems and Avionics Test Station familiarization

• Software Modeling expertise

• Software / Hardware integration knowledge

• IFG Dev Lab Experience

• Agile Methodology expertise

• Able to communicate effectively within a team

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
