Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team, focusing on deploying, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms systems to deliver seamless collaboration experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video conferencing, unified communications, and AV technologies, with expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms and excellent technical, communication, and customer service skills. As a key team member, you will provide tier 3 support for enterprise conference rooms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance of AV/VTC systems supporting live events, presentations, and meetings., * Deployment & Configuration
- Design, deploy, and configure Microsoft Teams Room systems, including cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays.
- Integrate Teams Rooms with IT infrastructure (networks, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365).
- Collaborate with project managers, AV integrators, and IT teams to ensure successful installation and configuration.
- Develop and maintain deployment standards, documentation, and training materials.
Project Oversight
- Manage all phases of AV projects, including planning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio-visual systems.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the primary contact for Teams Room-related incidents and provide tier 3 support.
- Monitor system health using Teams Admin Center, Pro Management Portal, and other monitoring tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues; escalate to vendors when necessary.
- Document issues, track resolutions, and identify recurring problems to implement long-term solutions.
User Support & Training
- Provide end-user support in-person and remotely as required.
- Create and deliver training materials, guides, and quick reference documentation.
- Assist meeting organizers with pre-meeting checks, live troubleshooting, and post-meeting support.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Ensure Teams Room devices are updated with the latest firmware and software.
- Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and system health checks.
- Recommend configuration improvements based on analytics and feedback.
- Manage hardware lifecycle, including decommissioning and repurpose.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with networking, security, facilities, and AV vendors to deliver high-quality meeting experiences.
- Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Manage device authentication, access controls, password updates, and patching.
- Support data privacy initiatives and audit readiness.

Requirements
- High School diploma and 8 years experience, or 6 years of experience in audio-visual support, audio-visual system management, and live event production, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, QSYS Systems, projection systems, Creston systems, Extron, and various audio-visual systems. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, especially Microsoft Teams.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication abilities with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ticket Management: Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and managing support queues.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess issues, ask clarifying questions, and determine appropriate next steps.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage a dynamic workload, prioritize competing requests, and meet service expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Certifications: Preferred certifications in Microsoft M365 collaboration suite, audio-visual technology, including Crestron, QSYS Systems, Extron, and Shure.
Benefits & conditions
Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929
