Systems Administrator

Work Location: Full-time onsite Essential Functions: * Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• Administer network security measures.
• Other duties as assigned or required. Requirements * Obtaining a CompTIA Security+ certification prior to onboarding

• Knowledgeable / proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems
• Troubleshoot tier 1 support issues
• Ability to manage / maintain various types of servers and security requirements
• Security conscious in all aspects
• Familiar with Azure and virtualization
• Resourceful / problem solving skills
• Works independently
• Self-starter
• Organized
• Detail oriented Security Clearance: Active Interim Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and a Top Secret clearance.. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS/BA degree required.
