Mainframe Performance Engineer

Analyze and monitor mainframe system performance using RMF (Resource Measurement Facility) Work with SMF (System Management Facility) data for performance tuning and reporting Utilize Workload Manager (WLM) to optimize system performance and resource allocation Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python in distributed systems Build integrations between mainframe performance data and modern tools using APIs Identify bottlenecks and recommend performance improvements

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Performance Engineer with strong expertise in performance monitoring and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RMF APIs, SMF data, and Workload Manager, along with the ability to develop automation solutions using Python in a distributed environment., Strong experience with Mainframe Performance tools (RMF, SMF) Good understanding of Workload Manager (WLM) Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation Experience working with APIs for performance data extraction Knowledge of z/OS environment Preferred Skills: Experience with data analysis or visualization tools Exposure to DevOps or automation frameworks Familiarity with distributed systems integration
