Job description

The Salesforce Software Developer/Architect is responsible for designing, developing and implementing scalable and robust custom Salesforce solutions that automate and enhance business processes. This position will work independently to analyze requirements, architect, build and maintain applications., OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Designs and develops Salesforce applications while ensuring best practices.

  • Oversees code quality, security standards and the performance of the application.

  • Influences decisions across other teams related to the solution architecture.

  • Mentors junior developers as required.

  • Maintains awareness and knowledge of all Salesforce releases and features, makes recommendations and implements them accordingly.

  • Provides production support and resolves issues quickly and efficiently. STRATEGY/DESIGN

  • Owns architectural and technical decisions that create a reliable and robust application.

  • Provides input into strategic direction of the applications.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and dependencies and aligns business processes with development and feature design.

  • Creates key project documentation including technical design specifications and deployment plans.

  • Serves as a technical advisor to business stakeholders, business analysts and project managers. DEVELOPMENT

  • Builds and maintains custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs and other Salesforce technologies.

  • Completes all unit testing.

  • Actively participates in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major requirements to facilitate best-in-class feature designs.

Requirements

  1. Hands-on experience developing applications. a. 8+ years of experience; Ability to build and maintain custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs and other Salesforce technologies.
  2. Ability to own architectural and technical decisions that create a reliable and robust application. a. 5+ years of experience.
  3. Ability to serve as a technical advisor to business stakeholders, business analysts and project managers.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

  1. Platform Developer 1 Certification (Preferred)
  2. Platform App Builder Certification (Preferred)
  3. Certified Application Architect (Preferred)

Soft Skills:

  1. Superior analytical skills
  2. Proven experience in designing complex applications
  3. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities with ease
  4. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Ability to serve as a technical advisor to business stakeholders, business analysts and project managers.

Technology Requirements:

  1. Expertise with Lightning Web Components, Salesforce data modeling, security and sharing rules
  2. Ability to build and maintain custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs and other Salesforce technologies.
  3. Expertise in configuring and designing Flows
  4. Expertise in designing and developing Integration Solutions using Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs
  5. Experience writing batch classes using the Bulk API
  6. Experience with enterprise-level applications and architecture
  7. Advanced SQL/SOQL
  8. Experience with Github and CI/CD scripting

Education / Certifications

  1.
