Job description
- Effectively contribute at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration
- Develop real-time embedded software, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities.
- Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
- Work effectively with team across multiple disciplines, internal and external
- Contribute to program and customer meetings/reviews
- Support the program leads as needed regarding technical decision making and problem resolution.
- Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
- Able to obtain "special access programs" (SAP/SAR).
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in embedded software development
- Experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages.
- Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience developing Radar Software applications
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
