Job description
A large home healthcare company is looking to hire a Security Architect to join its cybersecurity team. This individual will support and execute multiple initiatives aligned to the organization's security roadmap by partnering closely with data, infrastructure, application, and security teams to strengthen security capabilities, mature processes, and ensure security is embedded consistently across the enterprise. The role will focus on designing, reviewing, and evaluating the security of applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and data ecosystems, providing architectural guidance and risk-based recommendations that balance security, regulatory requirements, and business needs while promoting a secure-by-design approach across the organization.
Requirements
8+ years of security architecture experience
Proven experience leading security architecture reviews across applications and cloud environments
AWS experience preferred, with hands-on knowledge of secure configurations in AWS
Strong IAM / PAM experience, including: Okta, Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk
Strong data security background, including data flow analysis, encryption, and tooling (Databricks, Varonis, or equivalents)
Hands-on experience performing cloud security assessments (not just governance or policy work)
Understanding of DevSecOps, including how to secure Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows
Bachelors degree Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, AWS/Azure/GCP security certifications, or equivalent
Experience aligning security architecture work to frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, or zero-trust reference models
Prior experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR)
Familiarity with SailPoint or other IGA platforms (conceptual IAM strength matters more than specific tools)
