Job description
We're seeking an Expert Full Stack Software Engineer who thrives in hands-on engineering and enjoys solving real-world problems at scale. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, comfortable writing clean, production-ready code, and excited to modernize systems in a cloud-native AWS environment.
You'll play a key role in transforming legacy applications, building scalable APIs, and supporting enterprise-wide digital modernization initiatives-all while working in a fast-moving, execution-focused team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native services
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python or TypeScript
- Contribute to AWS system design, application modernization, and data-center-to-cloud migration efforts
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand system flows and data movement end-to-end
- Quickly ramp into existing codebases and deliver meaningful contributions with minimal oversight
- Participate in live problem-solving and technical discussions around architecture and design decisions
Tools & Environment
- Languages: Python, TypeScript
- Frontend: React
- Backend: Node.js, REST APIs
- Cloud: AWS (cloud-native services)
- Infrastructure / DevOps: GitHub Actions, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Data: SQL, data scripting
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding ability
- Experience designing and explaining AWS-based systems
- Full-stack capability across UI and backend/API development
- Ability to reason through problems and write clean, readable code without hand-holding
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and learning new domains quickly

This is a Contract position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
