Job description

The Boomi Integration Support Engineer will provide production support and operational ownership for enterprise integration platforms, with a primary focus on Dell Boomi. This role supports both on premise runtimes and Boomi Managed Cloud Services (MCS), delivering time shift operational coverage from Pacific Time and handling all aspects of Boomi troubleshooting and incident resolution. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving integration failures across APIs, message queues, file transfers, and backend systems; performing in depth Boomi process debugging related to connectors, mappings, profiles, error handling, and performance bottlenecks; and supporting and maintaining Globalscape Managed File Transfer (MFT) integrations. The role also participates in platform upgrades for Boomi runtimes, agents, and related integration tools, develops and maintains runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation, and creates training materials to support knowledge transfer and scale up of global engineering teams, including Hyderabad (HYD). In addition, the role partners closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to resolve connectivity, firewall, and certificate related issues, supports integrations leveraging message broker technologies such as Solace and Azure Service Bus, and assists with API proxy operations, including troubleshooting Apigee proxy related issues to ensure platform stability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience providing supporting Dell Boomi in a production environment

  • 5+ years of experience with Boomi on prem runtimes and Boomi Managed Cloud Services (MCS)

  • Strong Boomi development knowledge to support production troubleshooting

  • 5+ years of experience with integration monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis

  • 5+ years of experience with Globalscape MFT

  • Working knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, ports, certificates, and secure connectivity

  • Experience with message broker platforms (e.g., Solace, Azure Service Bus, or similar)

  • Understanding of API management and proxy platforms, preferably Apigee

  • Experience creating technical documentation and runbooks * Prior experience supporting global or offshore engineering teams

  • Familiarity with ITIL or production support best practices

  • Experience working in large scale enterprise integration environments
