Software Engineer

Are you a Senior Software Engineer in Omaha, NE with a strong backend focus to support modern, data-driven systems? TEK is supporting a backend-heavy role with full stack exposure and a strong emphasis on business logic and system thinking., Little products/projects; about 20-30 internal apps, some small/simple apps, not hugely complex. Plenty of work in pipeline that is ambiguous, need next steps for those.

Strong Python backend development

PostgreSQL expertise

Experience designing and implementing complex business logic

Proven ability to gather requirements, ask the right questions, and analyze system impact

Full stack experience (backend-first mindset)

Nice to Have

Dagster (or Apache Airflow)

Snowflake and/or Databricks

Data pipelines, orchestration, or warehouse experience

CS / Software Engineering degree (preferred, not required)

Looking for someone who can learn, adapt, learn new things. Want them to hit the ground running and produce value. Wants a fit for long term ideally.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $7.25 - $7.26/hr.
