AW Dev Ops

• Support migration of applications from legacy Windows Server environments to modern versions in an IaaS environment.
• Migrate IIS websites, Windows Services, and related application components.
• Assist with SQL Server migration considerations, including connectivity and dependencies.
• Evaluate and migrate message queues and related components.
• Document current environment, migration processes, and post-migration configurations.
• Identify migration risks, compatibility issues, and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

• Strong hands-on experience with IIS administration, configuration, and application migration.
• Proven experience migrating workloads between Windows Server versions.
• Knowledge of Windows Services setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Practical understanding of SQL Server (connection strings, permissions, service accounts).
• Experience with message queue technologies such as MSMQ or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as .NET.
• Knowledge of networking and Active Directory.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Experience working on server migration projects in enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams., * Exposure to CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
• Familiarity with Azure services and infrastructure tools like Terraform.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Understanding of enterprise change management practices and documentation standards.
• Awareness of security best practices.

Qualification and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
