System Engineer

As a System Engineer, you will act as the internal expert for optics, lighting, and detection systems , working closely with teams across software, electronics, mechanics, and applications., * Design and model optical systems (lighting, sensors, camera setups)

• Perform simulations, ray tracing, and optical calculations
• Define and execute validation and test plans
• Select and evaluate components, suppliers, and technologies
• Document designs, analysis, and performance results
• Explore emerging technologies within optics, photonics, and machine vision
• Contribute to new concept development and innovation projects
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams
• Support internal stakeholders with technical expertise
• Contribute to design reviews and product development discussions

• Master's degree in Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with optical design tools (e.g. Zemax, TracePro, LightTools)
• Strong understanding of imaging systems, lighting, and spectral analysis
• Solid background in simulations, ray tracing, and tolerance analysis
• Experience with optical measurement equipment is advantageous
• Exposure to machine vision, lasers, or hyperspectral imaging is a plus
• Basic CAD knowledge (e.g. SolidWorks or Creo) is beneficial
• Programming skills (Python or MATLAB) are an advantage
