Job description

The Application Configuration and Systems Analyst will work under the direction of the Head of Revenue Systems and Integrity to lead the design, development, optimisation, and maintenance of reports and rule builds within the Meditech Expanse Revenue Cycle applications (MIS/REG/CWS/RCG), with a focus on the Meditech Expanse M-AT language., * Lead the design, testing, and deployment of M-AT reports in the Expanse environment across Revenue Cycle functions.

  • Lead the development of scripts and associated M-AT reports to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Lead the maintenance and optimisation of rules across Revenue Cycle applications.
  • Participate in system upgrades and priority pack rollouts.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integrity issues, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions (CDS/M-AT reports/M-AT rules.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc business analysis reports to support revenue cycle optimisation.
  • Closely collaborates effectively with senior analysts, clinical teams, and ITG stakeholders.
  • Provide support for internal and external audit initiatives.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Key performance will be measured by accuracy and timeliness of deliverables (rules and reports)

Requirements

This position is ideal for a newly graduated programmer/coder with graduate-level skills (M-AT or equivalent) and a keen interest in healthcare Revenue Cycle systems., * Degree or equivalent in Programming, Computing, Clinical Informatics, Health Information Management, Data Analysis or Business.

  • Meditech M-AT coding skills or equivalent (SQL, Python).
  • Business analysis/requirements gathering and solutioning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and Access skills.
  • UK Private Healthcare Revenue Cycle Experience is desirable.
