Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and transformation across multiple data sources
  • Build and optimize workflows using DataStage or similar ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Ab Initio)
  • Collaborate with architects and team members in design discussions and participate in code reviews, contributing practical and scalable solutions
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support data processing and validation
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all ETL processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues; provide production support as needed
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables and drive tasks through to completion with minimal guidance
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced ETL / Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools-preferably DataStage-and is comfortable working independently while collaborating within Agile teams., * 5+ years of hands-on ETL/ELT development experience

  • Strong expertise in DataStage (preferred) or equivalent tools such as Informatica or Ab Initio
  • Proven experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data integration pipelines
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or Teradata
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions on time
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Azure data services, including Synapse Analytics and Notebooks
  • Experience supporting ETL processes in production environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures and modern data platforms

Benefits & conditions

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($60-$63/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and/or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
