Job description
OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

Architect and govern multi-cluster OCP environments supporting production, non-production, and DR workloads within a regulated banking context

Define cluster topology, node sizing, networking (OVN-Kubernetes, ingress, egress), and multi-tenancy patterns aligned to application and security requirements

Design and enforce GitOps-based deployment patterns using ArgoCD or equivalent; establish CI/CD pipeline integration standards

Lead platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management strategies with zero-downtime objectives

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement RBAC, admission controllers, pod security standards, image scanning, and audit logging
NetApp Storage & Data Management

Architect persistent storage solutions for containerized and bare-metal workloads using NetApp ONTAP, Trident CSI, and NFS/iSCSI/NVMe-oF protocols
-
Design data protection, replication, and tiering strategies (SnapMirror, SnapVault, FabricPool) aligned to banking RTO/RPO requirements

Integrate NetApp solutions with OCP via Trident; define StorageClass strategy, volume provisioning policies, and capacity governance

Support storage performance analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity planning for high-throughput financial workloads
Requirements

7+ years of enterprise infrastructure architecture experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a hands-on architect role

Deep, production-proven expertise with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) - cluster architecture, networking, security, and lifecycle management

Hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP-based storage solutions including Trident CSI integration with Kubernetes/OCP
-
Demonstrated experience designing and managing Apache open-source middleware deployments in enterprise or regulated environments

Experience working within financial services or banking, with understanding of availability requirements, regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI-DSS, Basel), and audit controls

Strong command of container networking, storage, and security concepts: CNI, CSI, ingress/egress, RBAC, pod security, secrets management
-
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Helm)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to produce and present architecture artifacts to executive and technical audiences alike
